Maybe because it feels so natural as well. I love the magic in the world of Runespeaker, though I can't put my finger on why. The language it is written in feels completely natural, which is not always the case with fantasy. This way, the story draws you in right from the start. Never so much you lose your interest, or so little you get frustrated. You do not receive all the information at the start or at a single point later on - it is given sparsely as the plot progresses and unravels. Runespeaker was an engrossing, quick fantasy read. *I received this book in exchange for an honest review.* |
